I am so freakin’ excited to be starting this storyline.

Translating these comics a while after they were drawn means I know what happens next.
Back when I drew it, this storyline pushed me to new frontiers, in terms of both story and art.
Changes that would later set the tone for the entire series.

It gave me a chance to draw some things I’ve been dying to draw for a long time,
and basically ushered in what I like to consider Dueling Grannies’ “Golden Age” (no pun intended).
Basically, when new readers want to start reading the comic, this is where I usually suggest they start.

It’s a gradual process, so bear with me, but this storyline is where it all started.
