I had a week to draw the entire megacomic storyline. 7 pages were essential to the story, and at my fastest, most productive rate, if I worked all day every day, I could just manage to draw 7 full-sized pages in a week. Something I never attempted before.

And I did it.

But… I had this monologue in my brain. Granny’s rant.
And I really really really wanted to draw it even though it was not essential to the story.
…
And even though it was an 8th page, when I only had enough time for 7.
…
So after working nonstop for a week, beyond all logic, I managed to draw 2 pages on the final day, probably breaking my all-time record for comic-drawing-productivity, just so I could fit in this monologue.

I really like how it came out.
