Congratulations!

This was a real milestone comic. For a long time I wondered if I wanted the comic to progress in real-time, like many
webcomics out there, or stay frozen in time, like most TV shows.
This was the comic where I finally made up my mind.

On one hand it meant that several years down the line, assuming the strip was still running I would have some
difficult issues I’d have to deal with (granny aging, Jonathan graduating school and going to the army),
but on the other hand it also meant I could take the series in a bunch f new directions.
I could have stuff happen in their world and actually STAY in effect!

Not just throwaway jokes anymore, but actual progress, things actually happening and changing.
Looking back, even though this was done several years ago, and I am now actually facing the problem of Jonathan (and many other characters that were introduced along the way) graduating high school, and the army not being too far off, I still feel that I made the right choice, because let me tell you, it was a gradual process, but from here on out some really interesting things happened that couldn’t have happened if I hadn’t made this choice.
